With COVID having its effect on all aspects of the society – less volumes of redundant IT equipment were coming available from (large) corporates in the European market. Most (office) personnel worked from home. This resulted in a high demand of home office setup with more single notebooks being shipped to private addresses. PlanBit was awarded a large corporate notebook refresh which required execution at employee’s home addresses instead of the office address. This 1:N approach demanded a massive commitment of our employees for planning (collection of single pack) while keeping our process lines for notebooks filled. Within 2 months over 2500 notebooks have been shipped from private addresses to our processing center in Geldermalsen.
