PlanBit improved their internal processing rack’s & capacity in order to be ready for the future. With this redesign we further improved the process speed in order to maintain and keep our 100% on-time & flawless reporting to our inbound clients.
Along the process improvement we also extended our Blancco contract. We use Blancco software per default in our processes for secure data erasure. Planbit is now Silver Partner of Blancco (https://www.blancco.com/partner-type/itad-silver). Blancco is the industry standard in data erasure and mobile lifecycle solutions. Blancco have been awarded as “Best Security Solution of the Year’ at the prestigious Cyber Security Awards 2023.
We further improved the Blancco integration with our ERP systems (PAT and Exact for warehouse management and finance). At all time we will be able to report transparent customizable reporting giving comfort with a certified audit trail if media has been overwritten (level 2/NIST SP800-88 Purge “Enhanced Secure Erase). But more important if media has been destroyed (mechanical destroyed) -the audit trail with serial numbers of the media will be presented as well.
Our process lines for processing non data bearing assets (e.g. Flat panels and components) have been increased as well. With these processing & quality improvements PlanBit has exceeded the 200k processing capacity per year.
