PlanBit processed over 100k assets again in 2023 which is a lower volume compared to 2022 but the incoming product was of a higher quality. The sales / market values of product gave us lower prices especially for the lower end products (below 5th generation processors for Notebooks & desktops). These sales prices have been very steady over the past 2 years (during the Covid times) so a prices drop was to be expected. Monitor and flat panel prices (especially A-brand 24 Inch and bigger) stabilized during the year. In general we have been able to improve our overall margins mainly due to internal processing cost savings.
Our partnership with British Medical Auctions (BMA) and the Troostwijk auction platform starts to materialize. Planbit is receiving & processing equipment for BMA within the EU. Monthly online auctions with the Troostwijk platform are conduction and over 35 large volume inbound shipments have been sorted and auctioned. Next to asset appraisal and identification PlanBit ensures proper packaging and outbound order handling for the Troostwijk buyers. 2024 started promising and the joined efforts revenue will be easily doubled.
